Our mint thumbprint cookies are one of our most-loved recipes on the blog. For Valentine’s Day, I decided to create a new version of the Montgomery, AL classic: almond thumbprint cookies!
Just like the originals, these little babes are buttery, crispy crunchy, and just sweet enough. If you haven’t read about the mint thumbprint cookies in our previous post, they’re a copycat recipe from a fabulous little bakery in my hometown called Liger’s.
If you find yourself in Montgomery, AL for a day, you should stop by and try their delicious cookies, pastries, and petite fours (my favorite!). But if you’re far from home like I am, you may have to settle for baking up a batch yourself.
If you try out our almond thumbprint cookies, we’d LOVE to see your photos! Tag us on instagram @fridgetofork, and be sure to let us know how it turned out in the comments below!
